Hi Everyone. I just picked up a 2019 Audi S4 on June 8th. Literally 3 weeks from the date, I turned on my car and just saw a message that said " Auto Stop/Start Malfunction. Please contact customer service". The Yellow Engine light was also on.Thankfully, I was covered as I have both Audi Care and the extended warranty until 2028 so they towed

Subarus start stop isnt perfect and only turns off the engine in short bursts any extended time or extra strain (ac) will turn it back on. I know on other makes start stop will turn engine off longer than Subarus but theirs did the bare minimum to pass standards. So this car probably still ran a lot.

2022 Kona Auto Start/Stop keeps turning off. Hello Hyundai Reddit, I recently bought a 2022 Kona Limited and though everyone seems to hate the Auto Start/Stop feature I like it for the gas it saves. However sometimes when I start the car the auto stop/start off button light will be on AND the auto stop/start ON light on the dash will be on.

Engineering Explained did a video on this using a Subaru start-stop system. At 4:25 he answers all your questions. The car is designed to do this. The "someone" is misinformed. Many (most) late model cars have this feature today. The button to turn off each time you start it is at your left knee (if left hand drive). Ea4NP8.
